Is it really December?

You mean, time didn't stop while I was in Europe?? I feel like it should still be October. Hmm.

So I'm waiting for my criminal background check so I can hurry along with the process of getting a teaching job. I just want it to be all taken care of already. In the meantime, I'm still trying to find a serving job seeing as how I literally have no money! I never thought I'd say this, but I just want to be back at Applebee's. I already know the menu and wouldn't have to go through training since it hopefully won't be for very long. Not having a job is actually driving me crazy!

Not much exciting has been happening. I have been spending time with my soulmate of a friend, Lara..which has been lovely. I'm reading a new book, "Ape House" by Sara Gruen, about bonobos and I love it so far. And I have turned into a Gleek. I don't know how it happened! Well, yes I do. My mom: "You should watch this Britney Spears episode, you'll love it." and when I got back, "you HAVE to watch the Gwenyth Paltrow one. Oh and the one after it too." And now I'm hooked. The show is amazing, even though I have been watching all the episodes in a completely random, mixed up order. I have never wished I could sing as much as when I watch it! They're all so good. And most of the guys are super hot, so that's just a bonus.

Today I was reminded of why I don't have kids yet. Carly ran to the bathroom saying she had to poop. Then a couple minutes later I hear, "KELSEY! wipe me!" Maybe it's different once you have kids, or if they're you're own kids. But I definitely freaked out a little bit. The 3-year old had to coach me through it. Sad.

I'm looking forward to the day when I am blogging in Korea! I'm also looking forward to the day when I'm not sleeping on a couch. I have the most bizarre dreams, every. single. night. I'd love for them to stop. I'm tired of seeing the person that keeps making a cameo (scary), but mostly I'm tired of dreaming of VEGAS! I keep having dreams that I'm in Vegas and since I'm not, I would like them to go away. I guess Vegas just misses me.
